A distinguished leader with over three decades of experience in railway engineering consultancy, Mr. Santosh Desai leads the company’s Railway Engineering vertical, driving excellence in technical advisory, innovation, and strategic growth. He plays a defining role in shaping the organization’s direction, delivering complex consultancy and design assignments across India and international markets including Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Nepal, and Bhutan. As a trusted industry expert, he represents the company at high-level project review meetings with the Railway Board, contributing to key decisions that influence critical railway infrastructure development. Mr. Santosh Desai brings deep and versatile expertise across railway engineering domains, including alignment correction, Aerial & Drone LiDAR surveys, as-built surveys, asset mapping, alignment design, bridge engineering, structural design, geotechnical design, ROB/RUB works, land acquisition, station development, preliminary tunnel design, speed raising works, and yard remodelling. His core strength lies in delivering high-precision consultancy, advanced engineering design, and DPR solutions for large-scale railway projects. He possesses a strong command over both Indian and International Design Standards, enabling the delivery of globally aligned, future-ready engineering solutions. He also actively spearheads the company’s expansion into international markets, positioning the organization as a competitive global railway consultancy. A hallmark of his leadership is an exceptional legacy—overseeing 14,000+ kilometers of Detailed Project Report (DPR) works, out of which 8000+ kilometers have been approved by the Railway Ministry for commissioning. His contributions have significantly strengthened railway planning and infrastructure development across the country. Having worked across all zones of Indian Railways, he brings unmatched domain insight and a comprehensive understanding of system complexities and operational requirements. Beyond project leadership, Mr. Santosh Desai has made notable contributions to capacity building within Indian Railways. Over the years, he has worked closely with and trained officers at various levels through guest lectures at the Indian Railway Institute of Civil Engineering (IRICEN), Pune, sharing practical insights and advanced technical knowledge. A forward-thinking leader, he is deeply committed to enhancing the company’s technical capabilities, consistently exploring and adopting emerging technologies to expand service offerings and maintain a distinct competitive edge in the evolving railway consultancy landscape.

Yogita Jagtap

General Manager

Yogita Jagtap is a highly accomplished and results-driven Civil Engineering professional with over 29 years of diverse industry experience. She holds an M.Tech in Transportation Engineering and Planning and has had a strong career spanning engineering services, software training, GIS, infrastructure, railways, roads, irrigation, housing and LiDAR-based survey projects. Currently, she leads a dynamic team of 180+ civil engineers at Monarch. Her speciality is strategic planning, innovation, driving operational excellence, a strong commitment for timely project delivery. In her role as General Manager, she is responsible for overseeing successful execution of large-scale DPR, FLS, and design projects. Her technical expertise includes advanced survey technologies such as LiDAR, drone surveys, and GEDO systems, along with rebar detailing, BIM, 4D simulations, Revit, and other advanced civil engineering software solutions. She has extensive experience working on international detailing projects across the UK and Middle East, delivering precision-driven engineering solutions aligned with global standards.
